    Yeah. Nena actually did a revised version in 2002? It sucked though.
    Nena is not on death support. As far as I know, she's still alive.
    The 80's were pivotal with Post-Punk, New Wave. Too bad about the whole synth-pop stuff. We'll just sweep that under the bed.
    Nouvelle Vague did a bunch of cover songs in Bossa Nova format. This just happens to be one of the good ones.
    Others worth noting were:
    Dancing With Myself (Billy Idol)
    Heart Of Glass (Debbie Harry / Blondie)
    Love Will Tear Us Apart (Joy Division)
    Our Lips Are Sealed (The Go Go's)
    Heaven (The Cure)

    They did a nice job of spinning the 80's tunes.

    well shoot. I thought Nena had died in a car accident in 87. at 49 yrs she is still hot. I'm 49 and discarded my hotfactor years ago.

    oddly enough 99 luftballons was the worst song on the album, it just has a catchy melody that sticks in your head.
