I greatly appreciate everyone's contribution here. We've kept up a great pace and our work is QUALITY.
I am exploring a more feature rich venue (forum) but am holding back a bit until I get details. Functionally, we could move over in a matter of an hour but I would like to see if we can have a site that stands out from all the other forums as far as the look/feel.
Meanwhile, keep the work coming. I look forward every morning to opening the doors at Gaslight and seeing the nights labors.
Meanwhile:
Dry Tear is under new management as of today. Adam stepped down. I don't see any changes but maybe they have a plan.
PoetSmear is all but dead. Marcel stepped down and soon to be away is my guess.
Big thanks to the Professor for sharing his work. I cannot find sufficient words to compliment or comment on his work. Rich in language, rich in format and intriguing.
Not to detract from the rest of us. I draw from everyone's style and perspective.
If you come across anyone who produces quality work or has potential (you know it when you see it) invite them. They don't have to leave their current stomping grounds or neglect their personal blogs. The more people on board, the less pressure to post every day. I would like to maintain at least 3 posts per day collectively. It seems like a reasonable number but I'll take just 1 if that's the day's labor. Momentum.
If anyone wants to have a look at my fragments/partials, I'm happy to share. They're not doing any good laying in a digital bucket. And if anyone would like to do a collaborative, absolutely. I managed to do several in the past and most recently, one with Elise. She really made it work. Without her effort, a very nice opening line would be stuck in limbo.
Thanks to all of you for your loyalty and providing a healthy writing environment!
